If you’re a college student who wants to make a difference, there are several ways you can get involved:
Esther Kao, UC Berkeley
“I’ve grown tremendously during my time at The @ Company. The people are funny, humble, hardworking, and listen sincerely to what I have to say (even when I was an intern). Now that I work full-time in content strategy, I’m regularly entrusted with high-level work that most fresh out of college wouldn’t be given the opportunity to do until much later in their careers — and I’ve learned so much.”
Hakeem Awbrey, University of Texas, Austin
“Working at the @ Company has been a big change in my life. I can’t believe I’m now heading up social media to usher in the new alternative Internet on the @protocol. My internship with the @ Company was one of the most incredibly valuable experiences of my career.”
@buzz Paid Mini Summer Project
This is a small fun paid project you can do on the side (not an internship). We have launched a new mobile app called @buzz, on the new people-first internet. @buzz is a Peer to Peer app and provides new ways of connecting and sharing information. We are looking for four college students to lead a group on @buzz. You would be responsible for getting five of your friends to try the @buzz experience with you.
If you’ve checked out our website and are interested in our mission, just send a one-paragraph email with a LinkedIn link (we do not collect resumes) to: email@example.com.
Marketing Mavericks for the Alternative Internet
Paid Summer Project for MBA Students
The @ Company is seeking MBA graduate students for a paid Summer project or internship.
This is not an ordinary project or internship. The @ Company is introducing a new Internet for a new era based on the @platform Internet stack. This tech improves internet experiences with privacy naturally built in. Thus, all the usual data marketing techniques are irrelevant.
Do people want to be surveilled, followed around, and have ads and apps pop up on their smartphone after they briefly mentioned a product to a friend? Eerie.
We are entering a new era of consumer owned data and privacy-first experiences. We want the best business minds and creative thinkers that can come up with marketing promotion ideas and go-to-market strategies that also respect people’s boundaries. We want human-first marketing ideas.
If you love to come up with off the wall ideas, think out of the box, think upside down and try those ideas out, we want to hear from you.
The @ Company has introduced a game-changing technology called the @platform, or “the way the Internet should have been built.”
We are offering $5,000 to delve into The @ Company tech and offerings and build a marketing strategy and go-to-market plan. We are remote and there are just some key meetings to attend, so there is a lot of flex time.
If you are intrigued by this posting, check out our website, grab yourself an @sign and send an email with two short paragraphs telling us why you are a marketing maverick and what your final deliverable will be, along with your LinkedIn link (we don’t collect resumes): firstname.lastname@example.org
Early Access Program
Modern social media does not prioritize meaningful online connections. Our transformative Internet technology removes the distractions (like unsolicited advertising or “Friends” that we never speak to) and helps us focus on what’s important: our connections with the ones we love.
Be the first to try out our never-seen-before technology and new People-centric apps by joining our Early Access Program.
Discord Jockeys Wanted!
Join our Discord to seek advice from other developers, access exclusive tutorials, and even play some games.
We’re also looking for Discord Jockeys who are passionate about the @protocol/Flutter stack and enjoy building online communities. If this sounds like you, reach out to email@example.com or @a.n.t.m.a.n. on Discord for more information on our unique and rising opportunities.

The Alternative Internet Summer Lab
Participate in our Summer Lab, intended for college students to build their app on the @protocol and invent solutions that have not been possible on the Internet until now.
Some of the apps that our student teams will be working on this summer include:
Drawing its inspiration from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved tale The Little Prince, @spacesignal inspires people to engage in meaningful online conversations.
@family functions as a list, chores and messaging app for families of all shapes and sizes.
Those suffering from mental health challenges can use @help to privately connect with professional helpers and healers.
